Why Vounteering? 5 reasons to become a D.I.

1.    “Experiencing a multicultural environment”
When you arrive in Lindersvold, you will find students and teachers coming from all around the world. Europe, Asia, America; each of us has a different and amazing background made by personal experiences, studies and culture.
In Lindersvold you will find THE place where these personal backgrounds become common, in order to know the world in a new and better way.

2.    “Challenge yourself”
Year after year, we create our comfort zone. A bubble where we feel safe, doing the things we know we are able to do and delegating to somebody else what we can’t do. During the program, you will challenge yourself, learning new skills, practical and theoretical. You will take the lead in many activities, discovering how powerful we are while not limited by these limits.

3.    “Learning by doing”
During the program you will study. But this doesn’t mean you have only to spend hours and hours over a book. A huge part of the learning process will be done while mixing the theoretical studies with practical activities. Learning by doing is our motto: it means we learn also with observation and putting in practice the things we want to learn.

4.    “Travelling”
During the program you will travel a lot. You will travel while in Denmark to visit places, taking part in big events or organizing them. You will travel to reach and to work in the project you have chosen. During all these travels you will learn from different places, different cultures, how life could be way more different than we thought before starting the program.

5.    “Working shoulder to shoulder with The Poor”
During the program you will study why The Poor are poor. But you will also have the chance to meet them and to work with them. While at the projects, you will work and live the daily life with them, discovering their dreams and the fights they have to face every day.
