DI - May Team 2015

May Team 2015

Oskars1Oskars Deigelis

"The most important thing in life is love. I know, it sounds cliche, but that's true. At least, for me. In fact, to love and being loved is the reason of life. So, i have always wanted to help people. To love people. To land a helping hand or just to be a shoulder to cry on if it's needed. To share happy moments and to share beautiful life stories, 'cause we all have a different one. That's the biggest and the best gift people can give to each other. Remember, we are all ONE.

Also, one of the main reasons why i decided to join the program, is about me, about my personality. Every one of us is a little bit selfish in some ways. So i wanted to challenge myself..to live out of my comfort zone...to understand who i really am? What am i expecting from this beautiful journey called life? And i realized, that this is probably one of the best ways how to reach this goal.''

LuciaLucía Dorta

Hello! My name is Lucía I come from the Canary Islands and I have decided to enroll in this project because I would like to give a new meaning to my life. I believe in positive actions, encouragement and bringing empathy among people. I think the world is evolving towards a more social conscious paradigm that brings us closer to global issues. Still there are many humanitarian issues to deal with. Thus, this learning by doing experience is the challenge to understand and get a closer look into issues that are beyond our personal perceptions.

FedericoFederico Marchiolli

Hi, my name is Federico, I’m 26 and I come from Italy. After my degree in law I worked for few months in a legal office and afterwards this period I refused Italian judicial system (and not only Italian) because justice is understood as a means to make money, and not as a means to eliminate inequalities. However, I think that this judicial system is only a consequence of the egoism and indifference towards problems in our society.
The figure of DI represents to me the opportunity of struggling against dominant selfishness and the opportunity of doing something concrete in and for the world. I would like to live in a world in which sharing is the norm and in which there will be no more need of humanitarian help.

RareshRares Bulbuc

Hy! My name is Rares and I am from Romania. I like to travel, listen to music, expand my knowledge, make new friends and help the ones around me.
I joined this programme because it offers most of the things that I like: travel, study, meat new people and help the ones around; but most important, I joined this programme because I want to do something that matters, I want to be the change I would like to see in the world. I think here I have the chance to make a difference.

IoannisIoannis Koulouridis

My name is Ioannis from Athens. The last years I have participated in a lot of different European projects and actions, promoting volunteering and cooperation between EU people, in every possible position (volunteer, camp leader, coordinator of work camps, representative of NGO).  I have chosen this Programme because I would like to travel, work, help and experience life outside of Europe.
